Our story
For fifteen years our founders worked inside national security — CERTs, intelligence units, telecoms. The pattern was always the same: attackers arrived with better reconnaissance than defenders had about their own perimeter. Post-incident reports kept saying the same sentence: the infrastructure was visible, weeks in advance, if anyone had been looking.
We tried to buy it. Every vendor sold us indicators of compromise — trailing signals, useful only after the damage had started. Nobody was watching the formation phase. So in 2024 we started building the platform we always wanted.
Cartalys runs its own global collection fabric. Our proprietary probes feed a 150B-event datalake that ingests roughly 500M new events a day. We don't resell public feeds; we don't depend on anyone else's telemetry. The signal is ours, and it's early.
Every customer deployment starts with an operator walkthrough. We measure our precision publicly because alert fatigue is the product bug that matters most. Our job is to give defenders a 7–30 day head start — and then get out of the way.
